The tranquil open spaces of Boulder, Utah.

Boulder, Utah is a beautiful small town in South Central Utah.  The town is located between Boulder Mountain and the canyon region of the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument.  The drive into this area is spectacular so you will want to drive in the daylight.

Lodging in Boulder is not extensive.  If you plan to lodge in Boulder it is recommended that you plan well in advance.  Please view our Lodging, Restaurants and Services page for more information.

The following directions – from Salt Lake City, Colorado, Arizona and Las Vegas – will bring you to the intersection of Highway 12 and the Burr Trail, our primary intersection in Boulder.  Please remember that odometers vary in accuracy and the milage approximations should get you close to a turn but may not be exact when using your odometer.

If you are participating in a Desert DAWN program – Course, Day Hike or Private Excursion – the meeting locations do vary.  You will be provided more specific directions to the meeting location when you register.

Happy trails,

Jeff
